Please note: Teachers and Green Team leaders from across the state are welcome to attend trainings in any county.

Training Description

This three-hour workshop will take participants through the steps necessary for the successful implementation of the Washington Green Schools program in their own school. There will be time to plan and network with representatives from other schools, ask school-specific questions, and learn about school district and community resources to help you certify as a Washington Green School.

Training session includes the following:

How to build and activate your Green Team
How to meet certification requirements for each level
How to complete assessments and actions steps
How to use the website and submit your results

Teachers, administrators, Resource Conservation Managers, parent volunteers, and interested school community members are welcome to attend a Washington Green Schools training. Free clock hours are provided for teachers.
