Our enthusiastic staff members bring diverse expertise to the Washington Green Schools program.
Meredith LohrMeredith is the Co-Executive Director for Washington Green Schools (WAGS). Before forming a non-profit for the program, she served as a consultant for WAGS for two years. Meredith is also a co-founder and Principal at Sound Footprint, a consultancy guiding schools and organizations working towards a sustainable future. Meredith's experience includes serving as Executive Director and later a Board member of the Homewaters Project; many years teaching at North Seattle Community College; and training teachers through Seattle Public Schools' inquiry-based science program. Meredith has a B.S. in Environmental Science and an M.S. in Earth Sciences. |

Kim ArmstrongKim is Co-Executive Director for Washington Green Schools (WAGS). In partnership with Meredith, Kim worked as a consultant for WAGS through the state-wide launch of the program. Kim is also a co-founder and Principal of Sound Footprint, a sustainability consulting firm serving schools and organizations in the Pacific Northwest. Kim's previous experience includes operating her own socially-responsible business and serving as a management consultant for two multinational firms, Accenture and Arthur D. Little. As a consultant, Kim facilitated transformational change in organizations. Kim holds a B.A. in Economics and an MBA. |

Rebecca MeredithRebecca is the Program Coordinator for Washington Green Schools. In this role she manages school communication, outreach, and other activities. Rebecca recently completed internships with The Nature Conservancy as a data analyst and with Sound Footprint as a project administrator. Rebecca’s experience includes research, grant writing, and event organization, and she has co-authored several scientific publications. She has B.S. in Biology and a Master’s degree in Ecology. Rebecca is a Northwest native who is interested in biking, travel, and advocating for sustainability in her community. |
