Certification Rubric

Please note that certification requirements have been simplified and improved for the 2012-2013 school year. Download a copy of the revised rubric here.

Complete the Following Steps for Each Level:
Step 1 *Build Your Green Team*	Create an Account, Form a Green Team, and Set a Goal Set up an online account for your school. Please sure to fill out your profile completely. Form a Green Team to coordinate school-wide efforts. Set a Green Team goal that you may be refine based on assessment results.	10 Points
Step 2 *Assess: Choose a Category*	Choose an Environmental Category and Complete an Assessment Choose a category and download the appropriate assessment and guide. Complete the assessment and fill in your key findings in your report card.	25 Points
Step 3 *Address: Make a Lasting Change*	Review the Assessment Results and Make a Lasting Change Address your assessment findings by taking action that results in one policy-level, lasting change at your school.	20 Points
Step 4 *Verify and Reflect*	Verify and Analyze Your Findings Follow the specific verification instructions for each category. Analyze your results and complete the reflection questions.	25 Points
Step 5 *Share Your Story!*	Share Your Story Answer the questions about your accomplishments, what you learned, and how you overcame any challenges. Indicate how you shared your story within your school and with the broader community.	20 Points
Step 6 Get Certified and Celebrate!	Submit Your Report Card for Certification Celebrate!	100 Points Per Level
