Chelan Middle/High School: Chelan Middle / High School has just initiated a new school-wide recycling / composting program, starting with the cafeteria. Tukes Valley Middle School: attended student summit today - Nov 6, 2014
The Island School: Thanks to everyone's efforts, the Carnival (October 5, 2014) was very GREEN! A single 33-gallon bag held all the trash for the entire Carnival. We recycled ten bins of plastic water bottles, aluminum cans, glass bottles and cardboard. Compostables, including all the pizza boxes, paper plates, paper cups, paper napkins, and food waste, all fit into a single 96-gallon yard waste cart. And the Freecycle Station found new homes for several pairs of cleats, many clothes and a fencing outfit. - Nov 2, 2014
