Northgate Elementary: Waste Education through Music

Participating Washington Green School, King County

How do you make recycling and composting fun? Two elementary schoolers at Northgate Elementary in Seattle came up with an answer. They devoted their recess periods to bringing this video to life, which is as entertaining as it is educational.

Throughout the song, the students show the viewer what waste management looks like at their school. From lunchroom composting to outdoor dumpsters, they demonstrate that every member of the school community can make their planet healthier.
