Teacher Trainings
Teachers, administrators, Resource Conservation Managers, parent volunteers, and interested school community members are warmly invited to attend a Washington Green Schools training. These trainings are not required for participation in the program but will provide you with information to successfully implement the program at your school. Teachers can earn 3 free clock hours. Other school community members and local agency representatives are also welcome.Each training session includes the following:
- How to login and register your school
- How to build and activate your Green Team
- How to promote the program to your school
- How to meet certification requirements for each Level
- How to complete Assessments and Actions
- How to use the website resources effectively.
These free trainings also provide attendees with opportunities to connect with other like-minded school representatives, enjoy hands-on activities, get questions answered, and have fun!

Note that Washington Green Schools and King County Green Schools are two separate programs.
