Waste No More: Developing a Campaign for Your School

A training for Seattle Public Schools teachers

At this training, educators will learn about the impact waste has on the environment, what happens at a transfer station, and strategies for taking action at their school with their students. In addition, WGS will set up a tailored strategy for supporting each school for the rest of the school year.

3 free STEM Clock Hours are provided

Schools in South and West Seattle will have the opportunity to sign up for a free field trip to the South Transfer Station this year!

Please bring something to write with, closed toed shoes, and a reusable cup for coffee. Coffee and light breakfast fare will be provided.
